Joy Behar wants Trump back on The View despite saying hes not long for this world

"The View" co-host Joy Behar extended an unlikely invitation Friday to her longtime political foe President Donald Trump, saying she would welcome him back to the daytime talk show despite suggesting that he is "not long for this world."

Behar, who has said she wants her legacy to include helping remove Trump from office, reflected on her decades-long history with the president during an interview with New York Magazine.

"Id love Donald Trump to take the heat," said the longtime Trump critic.

"You know Trump is not long for this world. He seems ill. He does not seem like hes well," Behar added.

A White House spokesperson responded to Behars comments about Trumps well-being in a statement to Fox News Digital.

"Joyless Behar is an extremely unlikeable, talentless hack with a poorly rated TV show who clearly suffers from a severe and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome," the statement said.

"I lose braincells every single time I have the displeasure of hearing her speak," the spokesperson continued.

Behars comments mark the latest instance in which "The View" co-host has publicly questioned Trumps health.

Last month, she argued that the media does not scrutinize Trumps health to the same degree it scrutinized former President Joe Bidens.

Despite their bitter political divide today, Behar and Trump share a history from long before his political career.

Trump made more than a dozen appearances on "The View" before he was president and Behar even attended his wedding to Marla Maples at The Plaza Hotel in 1993.

Behar said Trumps humor has changed significantly since she knew him as a New York celebrity decades ago.

"I knew him when he was just an annoying New York figure," she said. "Back then, he had a sense of humor that was not as bizarre as it is now. Now his sense of humor is making fun of handicapped people."

"The View" co-host recalled her earlier interactions with Trump, including a time in which she compared Trump to Woody Allen after he said that he would date his daughter Ivanka if
