Dan Campbell's wife Holly reacts to a female Lions fan thirsting over the head coach on social media

If anyone understands the appeal of Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell to members of the opposite sex, it's his wife Holly. They've been married since 1999 and have two children together. She gets it.

She also gets life in the NFL after spending more than a decade as the wife of a player throughout Dan's career. Part of that is keeping an eye out for thirsty fans who might have a real interest in your man.

Whether the interest in the Lions head coach in this case is real or not, a video surfaced on Instagram, posted by a female Lions fan, that was captioned "Daddy Dan!"

It shows Dan Campbell walking across the field prior to the Lions 45-21 blowout win over the Cardinals in Arizona. It also includes the text "Went to the Lions game but I didn't come to see the Lions."

The fan was obviously talking about "Daddy" Dan Campbell. The commenters on the video confirmed that she wasn't alone. There are plenty of others who enjoy the head coach.

One who did a decent job of summing it all up wrote, "Respectfully to his wife but yes, we all be looking."

The video alone probably wouldnt have gotten a response from Holly. It's innocent enough. She's not tossing her number his way or anything.

But the attention it picked up and the decent amount of comments it collected meant she had to let everyone know that she was keeping an eye on it. And that's what she did.

Holly knew how to handle the situation. There was no nasty DM needed or a post calling out the fan's thirst. She dropped a like on the "Daddy Dan" video and reposted to her own Instagram Story.

Again, she gets the attraction to the man she married and isn't worried about them showing their support for him on social media.

As veteran of a move as it gets. She's been in the league for decades and has probably seen everything you can see in and around the game. A tip of the cap to the ladies is all it took in this situation.

Holly had some fun with it. The fan, who appears to be married, had some fun with it and in a post that she disabled the ability to embed, she wrote, "Go Lions 🦁 & Dan Campbell & @hollyhcampbell 🐐 @detroitlionsnfl @detroitlionsfanpage."

She shared some more footage, if you will, from the game as well as the like and repost she received from Holly Campbell.

This exchange, along with a blowout win last Sunday, could be what gets the 3-2 Lions back on track ahead of two big divisional games at home against the Packers and the Vikings.

Ladies, thirst all you want. Just know Holly will be watching.
